I have worked in healthcare for the last 34 years. I began my career as a Registered Nurse after graduating from New Mexico Junior College with an Associate Degree in Nursing. Shortly after that I moved to Nashville, Tennessee and attended Vanderbilt University where I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Women’s Health and Perinatology. I worked as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner until returning to school and obtaining a post-master’s certificate from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas in 2002 as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. Since that time I have worked with the aging community in the Dallas area. As an animal lover and as a person who enjoys working with aging individuals I understand the importance of pets to their owners and owners to their pets. I currently live with my partner Kathy, 2 cats (Digit and Casper) and 2 dogs (PD and Taz) in Murphy Texas. I enjoy my 2 adult sons, camping, traveling and spending time with my friends.
